Metesa France is the partner of medical device and in vitro diagnostics (IVD) manufacturers for the outsourcing of their customer service. We provide preventive and corrective maintenance, as well as application support in medical biology, imaging and medical devices.

Our History
We have been supporting medical device manufacturers for over 40 years.
1980 - The Creation of S-Inter
We took our first steps under the name Securelec. Starting with a single customer (France Télécom), the company gradually expanded its scope of activity to include electronic and IT repair services over a six-year period, before adopting the name S-Inter.
1996 - Certification ISO 9001
S-Inter was awarded ISO 9001 certification for the first time,
demonstrating its ongoing focus on service quality and process excellence to best support its clients’ requirements.
1998 - Creation of the Biomedical Workshop
In 1998, S-Inter expanded into the biomedical field thanks to a new client: Beckman Coulter.
This marked the creation of its biomedical workshop.
2000 - Launch of On-Site Customer Operations
On-site maintenance activities were launched thanks to another key client, BioMérieux.
S-Inter continued to strengthen its structure, acquired the company Sertinfo, and consolidated all activities under S-Inter.
2007 - Acquisition of S-Inter
Marc Weill, supported by the investment fund Croissance Nord Pas-de-Calais (a subsidiary of IRD), acquired S-Inter. Following the acquisition, Jean-Claude Charles became a partner. The company then entered a new phase focused on growth and reorganisation, aimed at improving efficiency and strengthening proximity to its clients. The IRD fund exited the company’s capital in 2017.
2009 - Divestment of electronics business
S-Inter sold its electronics repair business in the Paris region.
2010 - Expansion of activities across Europe
S-Inter launched its field maintenance operations in the Benelux region.
2012 - Divestment of the photo repair business
S-Inter discontinued its photo repair business and thereby ended its contract with Canon.
2015 - Acquisition of GST
S-Inter acquired GST, a company employing 12 field service technicians specialised in medical imaging, including ultrasound systems, image post-processing workstations, contrast media injectors, and related equipment.
2017 - Launch of CT Scanner Activities
S-Inter expanded its medical service operations with the introduction of curative and preventive maintenance for CT scanners.
2019 - Certification ISO 13485
Quality is our top priority. Following ISO 9001 certification, which has been regularly renewed, the company added another key achievement to its expertise: ISO 13485 certification.
2020 - Launch of Application Engineering Activities in Medical Biology
At the request of key customers, S-Inter launched its application specialist activities in medical biology, with the recruitment of four field application specialists trained in biology.
2021 - Launch of conventional radiology activity
At the request of our customers, we began providing service and maintenance support for conventional radiology equipment.
2025 - Acquisition of S-Inter by Metesa
S-Inter was acquired by Metesa and became Metesa France.
